Who this policy is about
This page covers Explore Animals and this companion website. The publisher is not yet specified for the public release. The publisher’s contact address is to be added before publication.
For a privacy question or request, a parent or guardian should use the support contact. This draft describes the current app implementation; the publisher must confirm the final release, providers, and retention arrangements before publication.
Information on your device
The app stores preferences and progress locally, including language, game settings, profile name and selected avatar, viewed or listened-to animals, achievements, XP, and game statistics. Daily rewarded-access usage is also stored locally. Temporary animal unlocks are held for the current session.
These local records support the app’s personalization and progress features. The current implementation does not include an app account registration form or its own server for syncing this progress. Device backups may retain app data according to your operating-system settings.
Read-aloud and media
When you press a read-aloud control, the selected text is passed to the device’s text-to-speech service. Voices and any voice downloads are provided by your operating system or speech engine. Their processing practices depend on the service you use.
Reading a name or description does not require a recording of your voice. Animal artwork and included sound recordings are bundled with the app.
Purchases and other services
The app includes RevenueCat for subscription management. When this service is configured and active, purchase receipts or tokens, an app user identifier, subscription status, and technical device information may be processed to validate purchases and provide access. The app stores do not give this app your full payment-card details.
See RevenueCat’s privacy information, Apple’s privacy policy, and Google’s privacy policy for their services.
The current rewarded-ad implementation is a simulator, not a connected advertising network. Before a real ad provider is introduced, this notice must identify that provider and describe its data practices and any required parental choices.
This website and support
This static website does not include analytics, advertising scripts, tracking cookies, a mailing-list form, or a user account system. Its fonts and images are served with the site. Choosing a language in the homepage example does not save a profile or send the choice to a server.
The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and access logs, to deliver and secure the website. The chosen host and retention period must be confirmed before launch. Following store or help links takes you to services with their own policies.
If you contact support, your email address and the information you choose to send will be used to respond to your request. Please do not include children’s personal information. Support-provider and retention details must be finalized before the contact channel is published.
Children and parental choices
Explore Animals is intended for children to enjoy with guidance from a parent or guardian. Parents should manage purchases, external links, and support requests. Children should not send personal information through support.
Parents can remove local progress by clearing app data or uninstalling the app, subject to device backups. This does not cancel a subscription or automatically delete purchase records held by a store or subscription provider. Parents may contact the publisher to ask about access, correction, or deletion of data the publisher or its providers hold.
This draft is not a claim of compliance with a specific children’s privacy law. The publisher must confirm the intended ages, countries, service configuration, applicable consent requirements, and parent-request process for the public release.
Retention, requests, and updates
Local data generally remains until it is reset, cleared, or removed with the app; backups are managed by the device platform. Purchase and support records may have separate retention obligations and periods. These must be specified by the publisher before launch.
Privacy rights vary by location and may include access, correction, deletion, or a complaint to a relevant authority. Contact the publisher for a request relating to this app. A final policy will include the applicable legal grounds, provider and transfer details, effective date, and procedures for notifying families about material changes.
